L-1 LED
Designed in 1937 by Luxo’s founder, Jac Jacobsen, L-1 is the world’s first original architect lamp. Since its creation, 25 million L-1 luminaires have been sold worldwide and L-1 has been distinguished by many prestigious international design awards. With its unique design and flexible, spring-balanced arm, L-1 has earned a place among the world’s all-time classics.
The L-1 LED features an LED light source. With its timeless design and automatic shut-off and dimming features, L-1 LED is fully adaptable wherever energy-efficiency, versatility and quality are sought.
Fun Fact: Pixar’s iconic Luxo Jr., the animated desk lamp made famous in the 1986 short film, was based on the Luxo L-1 task light.
